Here Comes Everybody

Clay Shirky is a 70’s detective from San Francisco, a loose cannon who doesn’t play by the rules. Actually he’s an 80’s porn star with a Stalin-esque tache. Actually if you image search for him on google, you quickly realise that he isn’t either of these. He is a sociologist who knows a lot about emerging technologies, and that is probably why he wrote a book about it. Here comes everybody focuses on trends such as Blogging, Twitter, Myspace, Flickr and a host of other online communities. It details how these trends have made organisation possible without the need for organisations and it is a very good read, it gives you a massive insight into current social trends and an outline of how people’s behaviour is changing with the rise of online communities.
